Had a great experience here. Janae was wonderful at check in! We stayed here to be close to the Target Center for the WNBA game and she offered great tips to us to have the best time.
We come to Minneapolis every year for a baseball experience. Last year we stayed at the Royal Sonesta and arrived to the city early. We asked about an early check in and was told it would cost $40. We wandered around the city instead. This year we went to the Mall before check in time. We arrived at the hotel at 4:00 (check in time). We were told our room was not ready. We were offered a drink (okay but only for a little while). We finished our drink about 5:00 and tried to check in again. Still not ready! We were going to attend the baseball game that evening at 6:40 so we wanted to freshen up etc after traveling all day. Our room still was not ready before we had to leave for the game. After the game (9:30) we were able to check in. I do think we should have been offered more than just a free drink for all the inconvenience. I would like a response from you to know that you are addressing this concern.
The hotel is really neat! The beds were comfy. The staff were all very friendly.
The only issue I had is the carpets can make you feel dizzy because of the pattern.
All that said, I would definitely stay here again!
Staff is always amazing and the restaurant lounge is great! Well priced and solid happy hour specials.
So close to Target Stadium and everything else.
Safe stay and no worries.
Hotel was very clean. It was extremely close to the baseball park where we were going and there were a lot of options around us so we paid for parking but could walk around easily. Parking was easy with garage attached to the hotel.
Only negative was when I checked in and asked for my $15 promo money as a silver member the check in person was a little rude about it. Not a big deal just the only negative
The parking was under new system and the gate was not workinging coorectly but did not get notify until I get stucked at the gate gor about 20 minutes and walked up to the counter then found out.
My very first experience with the check-in agent was awful. She was rude and my second person I dealt with at the check-in desk when I was trying to explain to her how my experience went she was somewhat dismissive. I had called the day before my check-in date and explained to them that I needed a room with two beds because this was a trip for my adult son and I to see a concert. They assured me that they had that in my record that it wouldnât be a problem And that I had a room to clean beds. I get there we get up to a room. itâs a room with one king bed. I go back downstairs and they explain to me that they had sold out. We had checked in a little bit early at around 3 PM and they were already sold out. They offered to get my 6 foot four son a roll away which he said was no big deal, but I was upset that that was what had happened since I even called the day before to let them know our needs
