The room itself was great, but the check in was horrible, both staff members working desk were unfriendly, and i had to wait a hour after check in to finally be given a room, i wasnt told anything when given my keys just sent on my way, didnt know what time i was supposed to check out or what amenities i had
I was told when I was checking in that there was no air conditioning in the hotel and from what I could tell they havenât had it yet this year. The room was very hot and uncomfortable. They did give me bottles of water and complimentary parking but Iâm not happy . Iâm a loyal customer and should have been told before booking
The air-conditioning was not working, I get it, it happens, but not what we paid for. The elevators were so dirty, especially the floor. The shower never got warm enough to stand under it. Seeing as this is a Hilton, and the price is not exactly cheap, I was very disappointed. I have been to doubletrees before and they were gorgeous.
I visited in June 2025 and was informed during check-in that the air conditioner for the entire hotel was not working and was under repairs. They told me I could go to another hotel and not be charged if I wanted to, but by then, I had my luggage with me and had an event to go to and did not have time to investigate other hotels nearby. This really should have been communicated BEFORE I arrived at the hotel desk. It was disappointing they did not make any attempt to notify me before my check-in. The room was very hot every day and there was no discount offered. I stayed 3 nights and no one came to clean my room for the entire stay. No emptying trash or changing out towels. And on check out, no one asked how my stay was.
Low rating mostly because of error staff couldn't control. The AC was put and it was HOTTT. This the low rating of comfortableness. They gave us a box fan, each a complimentary bottled water and cookie. That's it. No breakfast or other offers made (other than to cancel and not stay there without cancellation fee).
Wish we could experience it again with full amenities in proper order, I do believe it could've been a 5star rating.
Hotel doesnât have AC and apparently has not for months. Itâs hot and if I hadnât arrived at 1am I would have found another place to stay. Unbearably hot and muggy in my room.
Hands down the worst hotel surprise ever. I checked in after a lost bag at airport. On arrival there was a printed notice on the desk that showed a little wear (it was not freshly printed) indicating the AC was out. I was offered to find a new hotel but it was 1030p and I was exhausted, plus they had windows that cracked open and I said that was fine. The young lady checking me in seemed tired but was kind and offered me a bag of toiletries. I slept well and the room was quite clean, and the hotel was quite likely as it was not packed. The next morning there was no hot water. I went down to the desk where there was one gentleman who also seemed tired, handling 4+ guests all in various states of pissed off over the same issue. He issued me a new key card and when I went to the new room, another man was inside of it who I recognized from the front desk. We both went back down and a lady at the desk asked how she could help me. I said âyou gave me the key to a room already occupied.â She said âI didnât give you anything.â While she was correct I was not in the mood. They did offer me a refund and said someone was out to check on the HVAC. I went to the conference and when I returned there was still no hot water. I then requested a refund which was granted through Expedia after another 30 min of hassle and waiting, and being told they were offering a new room because the hot water was back on (it was not). I ended up walking up the street in spitting 50 degree rain.
It was a good news/bad news stay. The good news was that the room was nice, clean and plenty of space. Good location and parking on site. The bad news was that when we checked in, the girl at the front desk (who was either having a bad day or just has incredibly poor communication skills) told us that the air conditioning was out and also there was no hot water. We were able to get out of her that they were working on it but no specific timeline. We asked what they might do for us and she offered to comp our parking. We decided to stay as it sounded like they were working on the hot water. Apparently, based on other reviews of this hotel, this is somewhat of a common occurrence. The air conditioning was never fixed which wasn't that big a deal because it happened to be an unseasonably cool weekend but the hot water never was repaired so it was cold showers all weekend. We also had a problem with the free parking pass and wound up having to pay to get out. My wife went to the front desk to work that out and she did say that Jeremy was extremely helpful and wound up getting on the phone with the folks from Hotels.com and getting one of our night stays comped. Given that they've had this issue with the hot water and a/c on a somewhat regular basis, we won't be back.
Air conditioning is âbroken next four weeksâ so no AC was available
Hot water heater âjust brokeâ this weekend so we had NO hot water for showers all three nights
Front desk team said âwe donât know anything, we have informed corporate headquarters about the problems
