Nice stay but expensive
We chose to stay here for a basketball game at “the barn.” Perfect location.
Rather pricey but nice.
They told us parking was $28 (there is a small lot behind the hotel) but, with taxes, we were charged $42.04.
I think Hilton gold members were getting a $10 bar credit which we didn’t get and should have asked for (since we have membership).
We ate dinner at the restaurant which was fantastic and the service was also good.
BUT be sure you pre-reserve a table because the restaurant is pretty Small and we got the last table at 5pm.
We ordered an appetizer and the fish and chips. Awesome!!! Some happy hour drink specials 3-6pm.
Some things in the rooms show wear — the leather on the chair was trash (it was so bad it shouldn’t even be in the room…I should have taken a photo)…
and the bathroom door was warping
But overall it is clean and comfortable.
The shower head was great! None of this skimpy eco shower.
There is NO free breakfast
And only 2 pouches of powdered coffee in the room with a hot pot and cups.
We skipped paying for breakfast and went elsewhere.
Also
When we checked in there were lots of folks in line and only ONE employee. She was fast but there still should have been two because it was backing up.
When we arrived, there were cars double parked everywhere with no valet or security to move people along. I don’t know how you are supposed to check in while your car is double parked around other, “abandoned” cars. It was a mess.
