This hotel is not safe & I was about to call the police!!
there were dust everywhere in the room and it looked like it didnât get cleaned for several days. We complained & they said they will send someone to clean but they never did. There was a desk in the room which had a broken glass on the top. I complained about it because it wasnât safe when small pieces of glasses were everywhere. They accused us by breaking the glass and they aimed to charge us for the glass that we didnât break. During the check out, they wanted to charge us for the broken glass. we refused to pay and they closed the hotelâs entrance door & put us in hostage. They asked if we Donât pay the fee, they wonât let us go & threatened us that they can become dangerous and they are capable of doing anything. As a young tourist girl in a foreign country, I was feeling scared & my knees were shaking. I told if they donât let me go, I will call the police to come. After that they opened the door & asked me to just check out and go. When I wanted to use machines to pay the fees, their machine wasnât working with international credit & debit cards. We tried multiple credit cards with different machines but it didnât work. Again they blackmailed us if we donât pay, we are not allowed to leave.I was lucky that I had a friend in India that I had to call him and ask to etransfer money from his Indian account to hotelâs account. If I had time to stay in Jaipur, I would definitely report a police file against this hotel
