The motel was in a transition from spark to Alpharetta inn. Boxes covered the lobby area. No ac in lobby, front parking taped off - no entry.
In their defense, they are remodeling and have a lot going on. Staff was pleasant and very nice. They are working hard.
While the front desk staff were friendly, everything else was horrible. We were supposed to have a king with a pullout sofa bed and wound up with 2 fulls and a sofa. The sofa mattress was DISGUSTING. It was covered in stains from God only knows what. Our 3 year old slept in one full while my wife and I had to cram into the other. The room smelled overwhelmingly like urine and we couldnât get the smell out no matter what we did. We had outlets and lights that didnât work at all. Worst of all, someone came into our room shortly after midnight with a working key and paperwork showing they were supposed to be in our room. I donât know what happened to our room or how we ended up in theirs but this was a terrible stay.
The property was being renovated, my view out the window was a dumpster and a whole bunch of bathroom vanities. The hot portion of the breakfast was really dry and ran out long before the end of breakfast hours.
Staff was very thoughtful and helpful!
