My family stays at many Embassy Suites on road trips, so we've stayed at quite a few. This one has the same things you'd expect, like big, buffet breakfast with an omelet station and happy hour with free drinks every day. And the staff was very nice and helpful. But overall, the hotel just looks like it's physically been neglected for at least a decade.
The interior of the hotel looks very old and dated. A couple of the fountains in the center were not working. Our room had a couple of spots where water damage was patched on the ceiling. The pillows seemed as old as the hotel: flat and lumpy. The handle for the shower was loose and coming off, same with the shower head. The carpet didn't have a smell, but it was just super worn and old.
This hotel is in a great location. But it's sad to see how the owners have let this hotel go. It needed a remodel a decade ago.
