I wish all my hotel rooms overall were this nice.
However, it would be nice if you had a box of Kleenex and towel racks at each of the 2 sinks.
Also, the 'kitchen' gal should come around to each of us when it came exactly 9:00 AM, to ask if we wanted anymore food, before she started wisking it away. Otherwise, I really appreciated a very nice breakfast.
The hotel seemed nice via the pics online. We check in the person was super friendly all the staff was. The room was okay. The ac didn't work very well and the toilet made a horrible noise every time you flushed it. It seemed like a party hotel. Cops showed up guest got kicked out. Not my style.
Great stay at the Lansing Quality Suites as usual, but the breakfast is definitely not the same. I hadnât visited the area in a while to be able to stay at the hotel, and so I wasnât aware of the changes. I was used to having made to order breakfast prepared as it has been for years. Now the hot food served is just like every other hotel (normal continental breakfast items, waffles, microwaved eggs and sausage patties). I also miss the home made Quaker oatmeal they used to have already prepared when I came down for breakfast. This time I had to pick what flavor oatmeal packets I wanted for the breakfast associate to heat up in the microwave behind the counter.
Donât get me wrong, the spacious rooms and good customer service is still there. The hearty breakfast is what made me reserve this hotel for so many years, but I may have to explore other options when visiting the Lansing area in the future. Tom is definitely missed for sure!
The receptionists are so helpful and cater to every need you could ever have. It's so quiet and everyone is respectful of each other's privacy. If theres any hotel in this area I would come back to it would be THIS Quality Inn
