Unfortunately, our experience was plagued by multiple issues that severely impacted our comfort and overall satisfaction.
Upon arrival, we were assigned a handicapped room facing the pool area. This room had a substantial gap beneath the door, allowing excessive noise from the pool, gym, and breakfast area to disrupt our sleep late into the night and early in the morning. The noise persisted until midnight and resumed at 6 AM, making rest impossible.
Additionally, the room was in poor condition. The bathroom featured a cracked showerhead that sprayed water in multiple directions, a torn and outdated shower curtain, and an overall lack of cleanliness. The TV remote was completely ineffective, and while staff replaced it, it did not resolve our other concerns. Furthermore, Wi-Fi service was inaccessible from our room, adding to our frustration.
Most disappointing was the front desk’s lack of urgency or concern. When we addressed these issues in the morning, we were told that because we booked through Hotels.com, there was nothing they could do—an unacceptable response. Booking through a third-party site does not absolve the property of its responsibility to provide a comfortable and functional stay.
