We wanted adjoining rooms with our daughter and son in law but also privacy. And was able to achieve this with our stay here. The way the entrance opens to 2 rooms offered this to us.
Property was awesome. However, I did not like having to drive to a separate building just for extra towels or linens. This hotel offers no housekeeping until check out.
I made reservation two wks before departure, they cancelled my reservation 1 day before check-in date. Don't even call me to let me know. Told the travel agent that they had to satisfy their "timeshare buyer" first.
Staff was rude and unhelpful. This is a timeshare property. I wouldn't stay here again. The location is bad, hard to get to when traffic is bad. Never again.
Attempted to time sell when checking in. Pushy on the request. They tell you to go on another front desk location to "pick up your parking pass", then attempt to hold the parking pass as ransom until you hear their pitch. Walls are super thin could easily hear guest on both sides of my room. Room was very up-to-date and clean. Be cautious of the WiFi charge as well.
We had a great stay at Laurel Crest!! We will definitely keep this place in mind the next time we visit the Pigeon Forge area. The only down side was the condo we were in was very small for my wife, baby and I. We enjoyed our stay a ton it would have just been a little more comfortable if we had of had a little larger condo.
Had a great time. Only problem was at check in they charged my bank card for rooms again when I had already paid. Went and talk to front desk and they fixed the problem.
We were only there 12 hours, as a place to stay while traveling. Room was advertised as a 2 bedroom, but was actually 2- 1 bedroom units. Which meant my children were in a different unit than I was. We kept the baby with us and let the other 2 stay in the other unit since they are a bit older.
Rooms were ok, nothing outstanding. We didn't use anything other than beds and showers so can't comment on anything more. Did take 1/2 an hour to get into our rooms because they couldn't get the card keys activated correctly to open both units. That was frustrating late at night with a small child.
The hotel didn't receive my reservation but did everything possible to honor my reservation. The receptionist went out of her way to correct the situation.
Booked this this hotel for my wife an myself, 15 hour day plus a 3.5 hour day for its amenities; nice comfortable room, flat screen TV and fireplace. Our plans was to get a pizza and relax in front of the flat screen TV and in front of the fireplace and stay in, after out long exhausting day,Arriving at the room, both remotes, living room and bedroom for the TV's where dead. Being a 100+ day per year traveler, I actually keep batteries in my suit case, both battery covers had screws in them so I could not change them and the gas fireplace did not work either. Also, I would like to add there was no buttons on the TV to operate them manually without the remotes. After calling the front desk and them asking me if I was for sure if I was pushing the red button on the remotes. After 1 hour no one showed up, I went to the front office and they acted like they knew nothing of my call. As I walked up one of the owners of the units was in front of me and was stating this was his third time back for a key card that would not open his room. When I inquired how long and the reason was I needed to know if we could eat in as planed or did we have to go out and eat and I mentioned the reason why we chose their hotel to stay in and eat at the fireplace. I was told it would be a long while because they had two other units had AC problems and it was hot and those would be taken care of first. I was told I probably should go out.....the very reason I wanted to stay there was to prevent this.
The room smelled funny walking in. The pull out bed was broke and there was mold on the bathroom wall. For a room that costed $191 I was expecting better
