The property is due for renovation. First thing you notice is the smell of mold somewhere-/ though it seems there is an attempt to mask the smell. Exterior — grass is mowed neatly, but weeds everywhere along border.
The room had no amenities— no soap in bathroom, no shampo, etc, There was a hair dryer bag, but no hair dryer. Only thing in bathroom were two washcloths and two small handtowels.
No bath towels. When we called, they said housekeeping would not be in till 10 am, but we could pick up towels at the desk.
Morning breakfast had scrambled eggs, burnt around edges, no meat, and partially cooked potato patties. Orange juice watered down and weak coffee that tasted like chicory— not coffee. No sweets and some bread for toast. You did have a choice between 3 cereals though.
The best thing about the place was very nice staff at front desk. The greatest irony of the second rate experience was a required $50 deposit at check in in case there was room damage. There was nothing there to take or destroy. Lighting in room was an overhead light as you walked in and a lamp between beds. Two electric outlets for recharging electronic devices on opposite walls of the room … nothing more.
There WAS a small refrigerator in the room that pulled out of the wall every time you opened the door, a single cup coffee maker with no coffee and 2 paper cups. Ice was available in the laundry room that smelled pungent and irritated the sinuses. However nothin was available to carry
