Falling to bits!
Sad to say that the Mantra at Salt is pretty much done in terms of being a nice place to stay. The rooms are literally falling apart. Upon check in there was a huge puddle of water in the bathroom due to a leak in the toilet water pipe, the laundry door couldn’t be opened as it was not held onto the tracks properly, shutters are broken and snapped and the dirt and dust throughout the room was disgusting. Handrails are rusted and old leaving brown stains down the white walls, the tennis court fence is about to fall over due to rust and the bottom of the pool is coming up in large sections. Decking is splintered and rotten around the pool area and gates do not self-close to the perimeter fencing which is a massive security concern. What used to be a premium resort is now sadly just a corporate function style hotel at best. Not worth the price at all.
