Lovely stay at this property. They were welcoming, the informations given were on point and the whole establishment is amazing ! Next time, my stay will be longer, for sure.
This wonderful old Quinta has been lovingly and tastefully renovated and feels very inviting. The lush grounds are enchanting and atmospheric. The staff is warm and dedicated. And all this is just a 5-minute walk from the Quinta da Regaleira. Amazing. We loved our stay and can't wait to return.
The hotel was a boutique hotel with beautiful surroundings. We had a lovely one-night stay. The lady staff at the front desk was very helpful and lovely. The lunch was good, and they accommodated our diet restrictions at the restaurant. The breakfast was not included, so we paid extra for it with limited options. The lady at the restaurant was very nice, She was able to get us cooked eggs and coffee in the morning. The hotel should offer more breakfast options for the guests for the cost we paid.
The Uber driver had trouble finding the hotel location because the address was not correctly displayed. This needs to be corrected by the hotel.
Odd little hotel. Bad rating mostly comes down to bad smell in the bathrooms (other guests also mentioned that during our stay). Good staff, great breakfast, quirky rooms (old mansion), great location
Wonderful small hotel (8 rooms). Large room and well designed bath/shower. Friendly and attentive staff. On a sunny day the meals are served in a wooded area with beautiful views! An easy walk into Sintra.
The property grounds are pretty and quaint for those looking to stay in a lush area in Sintra. Our room was just okay. There was no closet nor desk which I suppose you canât always expect at boutique hotels. However, there was an awful musky smell in our bathroom that got more potent every day of our stay. The hotelâs Glade plug-ins couldnât mask it and opening the window didnât help either. The window does not have a screen so bugs will fly in when itâs open. The hotel rooms are not secure at all. They have a weird door code system where you know what the code is to get into each room based off your own. They need to have a more secure system. One bonus of this hotel is its proximity to Quinta de Regaleira. The medieval bar next door is fun. Youâre about a 15 minute walk into town which isnât too bad if youâre okay with hills.
Beautiful extensive grounds. Friendly staff. Conveniently located for the three castle attractions (if you don't mind walking). Simple but excellent restaurant.
Our room was unique and very comfortable. The grounds were beautiful. Parking was great and the location was good for walking into town and visiting the attractions. The staff were friendly and helpful.
The building and grounds are as beautiful as they appear in the pictures. The location is next to one of the many palaces Sintra has to offer and itâs a quick walk into the historic town center. I cannot say enough about how lovely and accommodating the staff members are at this place. They went above and beyond to help us with anything we needed.
This is a charming hotel converted from a prior estate on national park grounds. The staff are extremely friendly and frequently provided assistance when needed. Wild peacocks stroll the grounds each morning. The rates are very reasonable given the quality of the hotel.
