Great location in the historic district and a short walk from the riverfront district. Older renovated hotel retains the charm of late 1800âs with modern conveniences. Highly recommend!
The air conditioner too noisy and running whole night , I set the temperature in 71f but the room always in 75f unitl to midnight.
So I couldnât sleep very well !
The staff was helpful and gracious. There were nice touches (ice cold bottles if water, guest socials) that distinguished the experience. Right in the middle of everything.
Yes...it is haunted
My husband and I stayed there on a short couple getaway. Itâs a beautiful historic hotel in the heart of Historic Savannah. The staff were so friendly and helpful. They have a great free happy hour with wine and cheese. One night they had trivia and another night they had a great harpist that played everything from Metallica to Moon River. They also had a good hot breakfast that was included. We didnât eat at the restaurant attached, 45 Bistro, but others said it was very good. If you stay there and have a car, it is a lot cheaper to self-park in the city lot right behind the hotel rather than valet with the hotel.
The staff was amazing. The hotel was so charming and beautiful. I loved the wine and cheese hour in the library. The breakfast was amazing. The room was beautiful and clean.
Our stay was amazing!! At first I was a bit hesitant about staying because for obvious reasons (ghosts) and because it was an old building/city but the hotel was in perfect condition and we loved the atmosphere. The staff were beyond sweet and very attentive, we even got upgraded to a King suite! The location was perfect too since itâs near everything so we will definitely be coming back. They even had a wine and cheese hour, perfecting for winding down and chat with other guests. We will definitely be recommending this place to everyone we know. 10000/10!
If you love history and architectural charm, this hotel will check your boxes! You walk through history with the framed maps and photographs in the hallways. The live music, the delicious breakfast, and the hotelâs proximity to all the plazas and restaurants, and river make this one of our favorite hotels yet!
The Marshall House was a beautiful hotel where you feel the history. The staff was amazingly efficient and kind, saw to every need and answered every question. Every morning at breakfast we felt like we were in a friends kitchen which was a highlight in an already awe inspiring city.
We love this Hotel! The location is perfect and is in walking distance to everything and so many places to eat. We attended the wine happy hour at 5 pm and it was wonderful and the morning breakfast was the best breakfast we had our entire trip! Best biscuits and quiche I ever had! The room was lovely with high ceilings. We are ghost enthusiasts but did not encounter anything except warm, happy, friendly vibes! I highly recommend the Marshall House!
just the most amazing place we have ever stayed, fantastic location to access all that Savannah offers, every member of staff we came into contact with were superb, could not fault it in anyway, will certainly plan to return someday
