I was highly disappointing about this hotel. If the beach nearby and the facilities are good, the services and the way to care of guests needs to be significantly improved to deserve 5 stars.
For a 3* hotel, I would be less stringent but not for a 5*...
Staff was not smiling, even not saying hello when passing by them, there were many mistakes during check-in (missing some breakfast vouchers), waiting for 15min to get a simple information such as the price for airport transfert...
Room itself was ok, not more. Big bed, big room, but not warm at all. Some more decoration would be appreciated to warm up a bit the atmosphere. Same remark for bathroom which should be a place where you can relax, enjoy a bath or something. Here, not worthy to spend more than 5min.
AC was working normally (so they said) but even with AC on all day and night with max fan, no clothes can dry. Very humid in the room, and it is not because of moonsoon season: I live in tropical aera, a working AC can do the job easily.
Housekeeping was done without care: they forgot twice to make my baby's bed (looking more like a laundry trolley in an hospital than a baby 5* bed), after room service pizza, some flour on the table was not cleaned (only the box)...
Breakfast was good with a large choice of food, even if too crowed, noisy.
Swimming pool and beach nearby were good as well.
I would better recommend a boutique hotel near the center. Cheaper, and maybe much better.
