Carpet dirty and covered in burn marks, dirty floor and walls. Hallway and lobby smell like smoke. A number of what seemed to be long term guests as well. All in all of I had any other reasonable option I would have left.
The staff was really friendly. You can tell they're at least really trying to run an old Days Inn property themselves and turn a profit. Its hard.
I get it. Its the Finger Lakes. Rich folk. Wine Country. ALL the rooms are expensive. The price of the room for what you get? Not awesome. It's a non-smoking facility, but the place smelled of cigarette smoke (the room at least didnât). I walked to my room, and another guest was straight up smoking away down the hall.
The rooms were as clean as they can be with what theyâve got. There's empty screws/nails in the walls that likely used to have art, and having a single garbage can in the main room instead of a small 2nd in the bathroom was odd. Water pressure was just okay.
But, it was still the least expensive room available (under $170) for a single night near the venue I needed to travel to.
I assumed 4.7 rating was out of 5 and didnt check reviews⊠huge mistake, its out of 10 âŠ. Staff was pleasant. Other than that just a disgusting dirty room, bed, furniture and common areas. Should be rated a 1 on any scale!
Bed sheets had blood stains, bathroom floor dirty, rug not vacuumed, smelled of smoke upon arrival, roach traps visible. Worst hotel stay ever. Did not rest well.
