I booked a room for 1 night with double beds. When I checked in and went to the room there was 1 king bed. I went back to the desk and explained to the clerk that i reserved a room with double beds and showed her the reservation on my phone which indicated the above. She tapped on the computer and stated that "we don't have any more doubles." I get back on the hotels.com booking site and low and behold it states rooms are still available. We ended up getting a king bed with a sleeper sofa, there were no extra linens, so we had to go back down and ask for linens. The floor was also soaking wet by the sleeper. Maybe the AC had leaked. At this point it was late and we were tired. The clerk that was present next day was helpful in giving us a late checkout.
