The property was unique. Built in 1896. Quaint and nostalgic, fitting for the area. The problem we experienced was the room A/C wasnât working so they brought in a large cooler that ran constantly. It looked like it had been there for some time which led me to question why a hotel of this stature hadnât had the room A/C repaired.
We hardly got an hours sleep because of the noise of the cooler. Will never stay at this property again!!!
We absolutely loved the hotel and its location. The staff, Maggie and Mike in particular were just awesome. We were treated exceptionally, given a lot of info about the hotel and its history. Met some others nice people. We were fortunate enough to experience Willies BBQ, amazing! If your like us and like to walk everywhere this is the place. Very close to downtown yet far enough that it is very quite and tranquil. Really enjoyed our stay and will return. Just be sure to if it is Bike Week, outside of the hotel our entire stay was ruined by bike week..
Wonderful! Friendly staff, perfect location, clean and comfortable. Staff was warm, inviting and helpful. We would definitely book again...and will likely return!
This beautifully restored historical building used to be a school and retains that charm. The staff was lovely and very helpful. Our stay was very enjoyable. It is quiet but still close to food and shopping.
I absolutely loved this hotel. The rooms were so nice and comfortable. I really enjoyed the pub in the basement and the piano music at Christmas was so nice. The staff was very friendly and the hotel was so beautifully decorated with historical artwork I really enjoyed. When I travel to Gettysburg this will be my go to place to stay.
Great hotel in a historic building that was nicely renovated. Clean, comfortable room, friendly service and the bar downstairs was fun! Very convenient location to walk everywhere, we would stay again!
