Very expensive for what it is⊠Cheap rooms, cheap bathroom, toilet water was running constantly. Staff not very polite. Donât recommend at all despite the good location
Very clean hotel! Great location! Such friendly staff! The only issues we had were that there wasn't a micriwave or mini refrigerator in the room. We brought our cooler, and that worked out nicely to have cold drinks each day. Also, a big hidden cost is parking. $55 dollars a day, plus tax. We spent $324.50 on parking our van, which we never moved our entire trip! Parked it Sunday night (Sundays are free) and checked out on Friday.
Was not informed that there is no parking. Had to pay 50 dollars for valet parking. I figured it would be free especially since I was a club member Also I was asked if I was a member and did not receive points for staying there. I had ordered food because I had been walking all day site seeing so giving my age I was too tired to go anywhere to eat. the staff did not allow the person delivering my food to drop off at my door so I had to go downstairs to pick it up. I was upset and tired. The next morning after check out. The gentleman checked me out and I was left standing there while he was going through some papers thinking it was my receipt but he ended asking me if I needed something. This whole time I thought I was waiting for him. Instead he made me feel unwanted there. He could have said thank you or do I need a receipt instead I felt like I was an inconvenience.
Nice hotel with a good room at a fair price. Great location. The downside was breakfast. Everything was served in plastic - even the cutlery. It felt like a children's tea party.
Breakfast every morning, cookies in the evening, friendly staff especially Parris at front desk. Let us leave our bags until check-in time. Will stay again if ever in DC again.
