The host at the Peppercorn is wonderful.
Very attentive and lovely to engage in conversation. A wealth of knowledge on the area, things to see and do, and history in abundance
The room was immaculate and had direct access to the beautiful pool, Bar, and Dining Lounge.
The food was a surprise and the portions were excellent.
The room was spacious and very comfortable.
We were only there the one night as we were passing through on a major drive from the bottom end to the top end of Australia but we will definitely be going back there.
Dated but very clean and nice hotel with everything you need inc microwave. Aircon was pretty old and noisy but the pool and layout of the place was very nice. Not very central in terms of location.
Stayed here for 3 nights. Very friendly staff. Had a nice meal in the restaurant. The pool was well maintained, clean and very refreshing. The room was a typical motel room but was well set up and the bed was comfortable.
Great hotel, close to everything that was required
We are a family of 3 and stayed here for 3 nights whilst attending a family funeral. I cannot say enough how friendly the owner was in making our stay great. Everything was in the room that was needed. The owner goes out of the way to ensure you have enjoyed your stay and is more than welcoming. We will definitely be booking this hotel again. Thank you for going the extra mile, it was very much appreciated.
I had never been to Clermont before but I was made to feel very welcome by the awesome people at Peppercorn.
I ate in the restaurant and it was lovely too. Definitely worth a look if you are that way.
The bed was a queen not a double and it was hard. The air conditioner did not work very well so had an uncomfortable sleep. No Chef and the bar did not open at all.
Booked on line and was not disappointed. After a long drive the motel was just right. Clean pool ,great ' short order ' food .
Good bed and 2 friendly dogs to relax with . What more could a traveller want ?
Only motel I've ever been in that has two exterior doors. One opens on to the green lawn and pool area, and you can walk through this lovely area to the restaurant. Had a very nice dinner and drinks at the restaurant, with the friendly owners stopping for a chat. Too bad we didn't have time to enjoy that lovely patch of green lawn though - had to drive to Townsville through more severely dry country.
A very nice Hotel with a very pleasant young woman in charge who was very helpful. After a long journey we just wanted to eat quickly and rest for the next long day ahead.
Facilities: Good; Value: Great deal, Bargain; Service: Outstanding; Cleanliness: Spotless;
The yung couple runing this motel do a top notch job. Meals are exceptional for a small town such as this.
