We would like to start by saying this is the first negative feedback we have ever given to a hotel but given how the hotel was and the situation that was caused by it, the issue must be addressed.
We have done our fair share of travelling - hotels, hostels, motels, camping, luxury etc but never the service provided was as poor as at Brondo Architect Hotel, a so called luxury hotel.
Firstly, the hotel is completely under renovation, a very important information that isn't shown anywhere and that makes a huge difference.
We arrived on the 6th of September and despite giving our time of arrival upon request, our room wasn't ready until 3pm. Once we were able to access our room we immediately noticed a few problems especially with the bathroom ( flush not working properly) and bath door (not closing and water not draining). The reception staff simply responded that they were sorry and there were no available other rooms but they would let us know if a change was possible.
The next day , the bathroom completely over flooded and was completely blocked, flooding the ground of the bathroom and hotel room with what you can only imagine to be inside WC pipes. Not very pleasant to see and smell and walk on.
The reception staff had no other choice but to change rooms and we were 'offered' a downgrade. Not an upgrade to apologize for the inconvenience but a downgrade. We accepted as we understand things like this can happen.
We later met with manager (after asking for
