It is a nice value for money place and centrally located. The breakfast had a sumptuous spread and had dishes from different parts of India and the service was above average. The rooms ( though small ) were neat and tidy and seemed renovated. An additional huge plus is morning walks by the river side. Would definitely recommend for short 2-3 days business stay.
The property is quite grand with good sized rooms and a very good setting with all rooms having external views.
The properties food service is not that great though.
No iron in the room, no hairdryer either. My family and I had to bring our own suitcases into the hotel which was a first as no one from the hotel came out to help, they just starred at us. My driver himself got angry at the hotel staff for not helping us. The staff on front desk by the name of Vijay was extremely rude, spoke in a complete disgusting manner and created a whole problem from nothing. I will never stay at this hotel, I rather pay slightly more and stay at other hotels such as Hyatt Regency in Amdavad instead of Lemontree.
Some of their staff don't speak/understand English so I often had to repeat myself 2-3 times and break down the sentence. I was charged room bill for something I didn't use and Vijay from front desk kept on blaming me and spoke disgusting. This Lemontree Hotel chain has no customer service. Furthermore, their swimming pool was dirty and during afternoons I noticed was closed.
Due to the atrium, you can hear all the hustle/noise in your bedroom at times in the evenings. At 6am I had a next door room having maintenance works done with drilling and hammering which woke me.
On my right room the walls seem to be so thin that you can hear people in the other room and their TV on.
Would not stay again and would not recommend to anyone. Only recommendation I have is for a breakfast kitchen staff I think by the name of Amal who was very kind and went out of his way.
Very unprofessional.. No help with luggage.
Had to call several times to get iron
Only one towel in bathroom everyday even though there were two in room
House keeping incompetent.
Reception staff very rude
The decor and ambience is great giving you a feeling of an european style. White colour background enlightens the ambience and gives a cool and refresh look.
