I stayed here to be close to family for Easter. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was safe and convenient to the freeway. The only drawbacks was no coffee maker in the room and no place to eat within a few miles. I would stay here again.
I had paid in advance , and was guaranteed for a late arrival. I arrived at 1:00am. Upon arriving I talked with who said was the owner/ manager. He said that he had no vacancy's . I showed him my printed confirmation from Expedia. He said that he was sold out for the evening. In very rough terms , he said If I wanted a room to leave his place and go and call Expedia and see if they could find me a room. He said he did not care what paper I had from Expedia. I said your parking lot is not full, in fact it is mostly empty. I asked him to please look agian for my reservation, it was 1:00am and I have early morning business. He threw my card card and DL back at me and look for 5 minutes and found the reservation. He told me I needed to pay a $15 cash deposit. I said OK, then he said no, you need to pay a $50 cash deposit. I said OK, here is my AMX. he said No, it needs to be in cash. I said , OK and gave him $50. I just asked for a receipt for the deposit, which he had to hand create. I got the keys and checked into the room. I check out in the morning, and got my $50 deposit back. I thought that I would write this review, to let other know that a reservation from Expedia does not hold any weight with him. it took and extra 30 mintues to make all this happen, and I got to my room at 1:30 AM.
Rude staff. She demanded 40.00 deposit. Must be in cash. I offered credit card which she refused. Told her that I was caught by surprise since it was not disclosed upfront and I considered not check in. She said its ok because she was not well paid if people booked the room thru 3rd party anyway.
I was in a hurry and did not have time to look around for another hotel, so I had to drive to a convenient store to get 40 deposit in cash.
Very unprofessional staff.
The room was clean and ready before checking which was a plus. I had problems with the manager/owner who were very rude and instead of handling it in a proper way they just stated no refunds and that I could check out if I wanted to. I was so upset at the way the manager/owner handled things that I checked out and did not even stay the night. I would not recommend this place the staff needs to find a way to communicate and talk to customers.
Nightmare! Especially the communication with the Owner/Manager. He even rejected me when asked to provide a blanket. There is no blanket in the room. Can you believe that? The carpet is not vacuumed, with stains and dirty stuff every where. The bed sheet is very aged with holes. Hair from last stay was found in bed. The answer from the owner/manager is: "that's what we have, if you don't like it. You can check out any time." And the time then was 11:00PM.
