We were planning to stay at this hotel for 2 nights to see the city of Padua, rest, swim in the pool, and maybe go to sauna, if time permits.
As we were checking in, we thought this was a beautiful place.
However, as soon as we got up to our room, our major disappointments started.
This hotel must have been beautiful once, but by now, everything is so worn and old, that it needs major remodeling. The room was clean, but it had an unbearable smell of the old rotten house.
The room that I paid for 3 people was extremely small; it would have been okay for two, but definitely not for three people.
They charged us over $300 per night, but when we saw the condition of the hotel, we couldn't bear a thought of going to spa, pool, sauna, or any other facilities.
The atmosphere in the hotel is extremely depressing. All three of us thought that we found ourselves in the nursing home. There was nobody younger than 70-80 years old.
When we came to the restaurant for dinner, it felt extremely uncomfortable, as everybody were sitting at their tables and staring at us, like we were aliens.
The beds in the room were so hard that all 3 of us thought that we slept on boards.
As soon as we got up in the morning, we decided that we need to run from this place to avoid more disappointment and sleeping on this bed again. I have never been in a hotel that is more depressing then this one!
Do not recommend! Not to anyone younger than 70 and if you don't care about old house smell.
