Very clean motel, just a bit old. Very good location. Lakefront parks are all within 10min walk. 5min to main street shops and pubs. Staff very friendly and helpful. Microwave, kettle and toaster, cutlery etc included for a couple days stay and toiletries provided inc hairdryer. Room seviced daily. Mattresses a little hard, but it depends what you prefer.
Tony and his team are amazing, I was involved in a motor vehicle accident and had no car, needed to sort out insurance claim and arrange how to get back to Melbourne, they gave me use of the room until I was able to get it sorted, this sort of good old fashioned service is hard to find they really looked after me ever dropping me off to parts of town when I needed, Thank you I will be back
This is an older hotel that is right on the lake in Yarrawonga with a skate park across the road. Great location right next to main street too, 2 mins walk to supermarket and 5min walk to pubs. It is very clean and has everything in the room you need for a couple of days stay. The rooms are dated, but comfortable however a little noisy, being able to hear everything from your neighbours.
The location of this motel is ideal: waterfront views and a nice pool. Itâs quiet but the supermarket, pubs, and restaurants are within meters for easy walking. The room & ensuite were clean and well sized. The welcome from owner Tony was friendly and he was keen to assist in any way. Much appreciated.
Property is dated but very clean however take your own pillows. Shower area dated but also well maintained limited seating in room 2 chairs and a table but ok for a short stay pool area spotless as is Bbq area directly across road from lake good views hotel across the road and iga next door
Loved staying at Lakeview - right across the road from the lake/river, restaurants and shops, just cross the bridge to ski club and RSL.
Tony and the team are lovely and keep the property in great shape. Will stay again!
We had an opportunity to travel by a special charter train to Yarrawonga, so we jumped at the opportunity to re-visit this lovely town. Check-in was very friendly and welcoming and we were soon off upstairs with our key. The room was clean and with a lovely view over the lake, however no cookies to have with a cuppa was a disappointment. The air-con, necessary due to the cold nights was the loudest ever experienced in all my travels.
Checkout was equally friendly and the suggestion to leave our luggage at reception whilst waiting for the bus was gratefully accepted. Despite the few hiccups, we would definitely stay again but would bring earplugs if the nights are cold.
