My wife and I had a very good stay at the Beagle Motor Inn. The bed was the most confortable we had in our whole journey (3 months and counting) and the bathroom was perfect. We enjoyed the little attentions in the room and the swimming pool was great. Overvall a very pleasant stay and a good value for our money.
Disappointed in other guest, as there were a number of rooms around me booked together. Adults drinking alcohol i can deal with but screaming kids and drinkers coming back after pubs closed talking loud and not having any respect for travellers passing through. Unrestful night and only had a few hours sleep because of noise. I woke up at 4am to drive to Alice. Very tired! Quiet time needs to monitored.
I have stayed here before and never had a problem hope this was a one off.
Felt unsafe, outside was unclean, untidy, uncared for. The room itself was reasonably clean but towels smelt as though they had been washed with greasy stuff (that slightly unclean smell). Despite requesting a room away from the road (because i was concerned about our safety and safety for our car) on checkin I had to ask for another room further in the property . Fridge was on but does not cool. Luckily we had our car fridge because you could not put anything in that room fridge. Door looked like it had been attempted to be forced. All sorts of signs about noise, security, cleaning the toilet. We are from Darwin, so we know what that means.
The first thing when I walked in was the cool air-con â
When I walked in the bathroom area, I was met with a shower curtain that was slung up on the rail & the filthy button of it hit me in the face. Bio carb sofa & vintage in a bucket would clean it.
For the price $112 it was acceptable. Clean bed that was the main thing.
