The room was clean and well presented. The staff were friendly and helpful. The cleaners did an excellent job making the room each day. The tea and coffee station was refilled every day. The only con would be the discomfort of the mattress, we could feel springs pressing into us and we found it uncomfortable. Other than this we were extremely impressed and would highly recommend the hotel and restaurant. We would stay again
Wonderful hotel with a fabulous view and restaurant. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had high quality toiletries. Breakfast was delicious and very reasonably priced.
After paying ÂŁ150 for a room with a sea view. On arrival we were told we were giving a room with a balcony.
We were happy to hear this but once we entered the room it was so so small and very claustrophobic!
The bed was extremely small.
My partner is 8 months pregnant, there was barely any room to swing a cat so I went to reception and ask if we could move room, we have already checked online and we knew there was rooms empty.
To this we were told we would have to pay ÂŁ35 extra to upgrade to a bigger room, we had no option other than to do it because it was no possible to stay in the room we had been provided with.
I think the customer service was really poor in this case, they could have done better to help accommodate a heavily pregnant lady.
Word of warning if booking, ask not to be given the room with the balcony.
Even when we did move the bed was very uncomfortable, the mattress was far too soft and could feel springs and some sort of board down the middle.
I wouldnât say here again.
What a find! We had a room overlooking the Fourth Bridge, amazing view.
Clean and very comfortable, well appointed, smart room, great bathroom.
Staff were all lovely, and food was great, we had dinner at Samfire.
The town of South Queensferry is quaint.
Super quaint little hotel with a fantastic restaurant downstairs that has a very beautiful view of the waterfront and bridges. Rooms were very clean and staff very helpful and friendly.
Lovely hotel with fantastic views and well appointed rooms. Our experience was made by the staff though, everyone we had contact with were incredibly helpful, no ask too great and they were all very friendly too. Highly recommend this hotel/restaurant if you're in the area!
We know Orocco Pier well but had never stayed over. The bar was busy with a friendly vibe, food delicious and staff were great. Our bedroom was large with 3 windows facing the Forth and Forth Railbridge. Bed very comfortable which isnât often the case in hotels!
Love, love the Orocco Pier! Staff are friendly and helpful, rooms are lovely, the restaurant is great, and the views are beautiful! Would definitely stay again, and recommend to friends/family.
