Not recommended. I got a good price at $30/nt, but at night, locals tell you it's not safe to walk, so you end up spending extra for cabs. It's convenient if you're going to spend a ton of time at the beach, which is across the main road.
My friends first room had tons of visible black mold (and it was hard to breathe), so she slept in my room the first night until they had another available.
There was no hot water in any of the rooms. The hot water faucets didn't even have water coming from them. Something in my bathroom (toilet? Shower?) leaked on my second day, but I knew they had no more rooms, so I just dealt with it. Toilet was only able to flush once every 20-30 minutes.
Depending where your room is, it's very noisy. I was right up the stairs from the lobby/pool, and heard loud music most nights. Plus, there's a buzzer at the outer door, for safety, and it goes off incessantly, all hours of the day. Wifi is also not super reliable.
Overall, the property is very rundown.
Pros - My room was clean and bed was comfortable. A/C worked well. Staff was nice, but spoke almost no English. Due to all the issues in multiple rooms, I'd say spend a little more and find something in the walled city/old Town.
