Nice new building, service wasn't great and it seemed like a Normal Occurence!
- Office closes at 5:00h PM, no one to fix what is wrong, between 5:00h and 9:00h AM.
- Checked in quickly, but staff provided no info (town map, or other info was suggested to us). A map was given to us by a survey person from the tourism bureau, near the lighthouse. We noticed a stack of maps, in the back of the recepti, when we checked out!
- TV and internet were broken/ malfunctionning (in room description) strange for a hotel in the USA where coffee shops have free working internet.
- Ice machine was broken.
- We requested a toaster (in room description) because there was none in the room.
- Verbally requested coffee and shampoo for 2nd day of stay. None was left in the room, when we got back from visiting, after 5:00.
- Bed was made and towels had been replaced. Yay!
- The polite Maintenance person tried to fix the TV and internet, but couldn't and there were no extra TVs to transfer from another room, to ours. He suggested we try getting our e-mails in the Reception (where there are no seats).
- The hotel's General Manager was informed, but didn't suggest anything OR apologise for the inconvenience, as we left (her desk is beside the Reception desk) - It seemed like a Normal Occurence and nothing out of the ordinary.
- There are multiple other hotels, motels, houses and rooms to rent, where they will be appreciative of your business and be happy to help you discover the area.
