The whale watchers inn is ideally placed and was a very pleasant guest house more basic than some but I really enjoyed the stay. For me itâs about the people you meet and the sights you see. I would definitely stay there again and the owners are lovely people thanks
We enjoyed our trip to Witsand. Whale Watchers Inn is very close to the beach. Excellent service, problems were sorted out immediately. There is some wear and tear, could do with a revamp. Wifi almost non-existing. Very limited TV channels.
Very friendly owner and staff. Parking right in front which was very nice. Very safe area.
Signora molto gentile e amichevole
We had a fantastic time and Clair and Johnny's B & B in Witsand; the room was sunny and very comfortable, and the breakfast was first rate. Clair had lots of local knowledge and shared it (when asked). The view of the Indian Ocean was gorgeous but only partial, because of buildings that the municipal authorities shouldn't have allowed. Would recommend Whale Watcher's Inn strongly.
We stayed here 17 years ago and loved this hidden gem. Returned to find the same lovely couple running it and we were made to feel just as welcome. Really laid back and such a wonderful location. Sad that there has been building in front of the guesthouse on what was once the beach but I guess that is life.
Stayed at the Whale Watchers Inn for one night while on the Garden Route. We stayed in the self catering Musselcraker which had a reasonable view of the bay where we were lucky enough to see Southern Right whales. Clean and comfortable with hot water bottles slipped into the bed to stave off the winter chill.
Very nice substantial breakfast served by courteous and friendly owners.
