Nice room with air conditioning. No lamps on the nightstands so you need to get up off the bed to turn light off. No washcloth in the shower. No electric outlet close to the nightstand. Close to everything. Super easy check in and check out. Super nice staff
Lovely, unique colonial building with charm, comfort, and history. Our Tlalli (Earth) room was spacious for family of 3, and tastefully appointed. While it looked onto the street, the room was safe, secured, and quiet at night. Walking distance to all key attractions in Coyoachan. Friendly, prompt customer service.
This hotel is gorgeous and our room was clean, huge and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable, by far the nicest we encountered in our 10 days in Mexico. The hotel is in a good location. Close to many things, but on a quiet street. It's so close to being perfect, but we felt like they needed to take our room out of service for a few days to do some maintenance. The floor boards creak extremely loudly, enough to wake you up in the night if your partner is walking on them. There were a few other minor things too like outlets that weren't attached, etc. Also the wifi in the room was very weak. I was having to reconnect every 15-20 minutes. Lastly, they need to work on their communication. We sent a message to the hotel a couple weeks prior to arrival through hotels.com and never received a response. Also we were confused about what to do when we arrived. An email ahead of time with instructions would have been super helpful. Once we were there and checked in and had their WhatsApp info to contact them they responded immediately. Overall I would recommend staying here. It just needs a few tweaks to fully live up to its incredible potential.
