Very nice hotel with an excellent breakfast, very good restaurant, and a nice terrasse. Very well located with many restaurants around walking distance around the Casino. My superior room was nice and clean though not very big. Service is uneven from excellent like in a 5 stars to rather poor depending on who is looking after you. As an negative exemple on the service level, when booking late departure up-to 6pm charged half-day room rate, I asked if they had any flexibility on check-out time knowing I was leaving the hotel at 7pm. The person at reception told me if I would check out after 6pm he would charge me full day rate. When I highlighted this was very strict he answered back it was not, as they would keep my luggage at the reception and that I could wait at the lobby. Resetting my room key, he made a mistake, and I had to come back to reception. No excuses from him. When checking out at 6pm I advised I felt he could have been more flexible unless they needed the room. He reacted negatively to my remark. One of his colleague stepped in apologizing on his behalf and advised he would not charge me for late departure. He still did charge me arguing I was aware about the surcharge, which was indeed fine with. I just wanted a bit of extra time to get ready, 15-20 min would have been fine. At that stage he confirmed it would have been fine. Another of his colleague apologized. I highlighted his colleagues were all apologizing and he was not. He finally apologized...
