Hotel appeared very clean inside and out. Only one issue upon entering room. Bathroom had not been cleaned well. Dog hair on toilet lid and a clipped toenail on bathroom floor and later found hair in shower. Lady at front desk came and vacuumed bathroom and wiped toilet and sink. Later in the evening a woman, I'm assuming a manager on duty called me and questioned me about the issue. She was very challenging in regards to the dog hair. She stated in a sarcastic response "I don't know how anyone could tell a dog hair from a human hair". Dog hairs are very different in coarseness. I received a $25.00 discount for the inconvenience. I had looked at several hotels in the area and I didn't realize this hotel was "pet friendly". I would not have booked at this hotel had I not mistakenly overlooked this. I regret apologizing to the Manager upon checking out for making me feel guilty about reporting this.
The room was clean and comfortable. Since 3 stayed in room with 2 Q beds, another seating option would be nice. Well equipped with refrigerator & microwave. Liked the eco-toiletries vs mini-sized. Instructions for using the remote to access tv would also be helpful (senior citizen here).
This is not the fanciest hotel in the world, but for the price and compared to other (very) nearby options, it's great value for the money. It was clean, modern, quiet, and I had a giant room (got a king bed / balcony room) for a very reasonable price.
While the breakfast was included, if you're a healthy eater, the options are limited. There was fresh fruit, which did the trick. Again, overall good value and pleasantly surprised. Enough so to take the time to write a review
