This place is a gem in the Old City. Showers are always clean and they are generous with breakfast offerings and travel tips! Staff are really friendly and the laundry service deserves a thumbs up. Sheets and towels looked and felt new and clean. The curtain of my dorm bed smelt a little stale but it was bearable. Suffice to say I enjoyed my stay immensely and would defo choose the August Hostel again if I were to revisit the Old City area.
Awesome! Staff were so friendly and helpful. The beds are generous size with own individual power outlet (x2), light and cubby. Also a full length curtain! Breakfast is simple but all you need. Common room with tv, movies, and books. Location is in the heart of old town and easy to find.
The hostel is in a great location and easy to find. The beds aren't the most comfortable, but they are huge which is nice. They turn the air off from 12-3 every day, which can be hard in the summer since it is so hot and humid outside. The staff is extremely helpful. Overall a great hostel
Nice hostel with a great location, free wifi, kitchen, friendly staff. They have air conditioning, but turn it off from noon until 3 every day. The beds are large, but not very comfortable.
I think it was decent hostel for the money, just I feels less amazed cause I went other hostel in Chiang Mai offered me one big room only me could use all three beds even I booked bunked bed. One thing I did not like about August Hostel is they have regulation to turn off air conditioning between noon and 3 P.M.
