This was a great and comfortable place to stay as we explored Porongurup and Stirling Range National Parks. Roomy, clean, and super easy to check in and out. The host was very friendly and helpful, too. Very homey overall.
This is a classic motel in a small town. Clean and comfortable. Easy parking at the door of your room. There are little extras that are missing in other places to help make your stay comfortable, small table and chairs, toaster. Chairs to hang in outside.
Easy check in, beds are tiny so me and my husband felt extremely cramped - we were both too long to fit in the bed properly so sleep was a bit rough. Shower pressure is not great!
for $198 / night is rude, $100 / night is about all its worth, bed terrible, pillows worse, only double bed in the room with no heating, will never stay again!
Place is dated and run down. Rooms need a good overhaul and clean out. Our door to the bedroom was broken and didn't slide closed at all. The front door was cracked. All 4 of us ended up with bites on us in the morning. The mattresses are well passed their use by date. The pillows are as flat as a rolled up towel.
I went to reception several times over a 1 hr period in the morning and rang the bell for service with no one turning up.
5mins after check out time the staff were at the room asking how long until we were ready to leave.
Its right next to Albany Hwy so has trucks rolling by all night and the train right next to the place also.
Ill be looking for a other location to stay next trip
We never went there because we booked for south Australia and the link made it for Western Australia.. we were staying I. South Australia for my fathers funeral and it appears no o e is interested in refunding the mo ey taken from my bank account by mistake and no o e wants to know or return phone calls or emails
