A gem of a hotel in a wonderful area and perfect for a cultural stop in Dubai. The Al Seef district is great with plenty to see and participate in while walking along the Creek. The hotel itself is a lovely mix of contemorary and classic. Spread out in different old style buildings across the area near to the reception, we were driven in a golf buggy down to our building and shown to our room with a very nice Creek view. We loved the nostalgic touches with old fashioned light switches, telephone, radio etc. Yet everything one needed was there. The bed was also the most comfotable of the 3 high quality hotels we had been to in Dubai. Plenty of interesting adjacent shops and restaurants and fireworks on each night we were there lent to a great experience. As part of the Hilton group, we also had the use of the swimming pool at the Canopy Hotel which was at the other end of the waterfront walk. Additionally, if one wishes, it's an easy enough walk to the metro station and cheap, efficient access into the ceter of town (Burj Khalifa, etc). Excellent, friendly staff were the icing on the cake and I wish that we could have stayed more than 2 nights, but look forward o going back when we have the chance.
