Sensitive to smells.
First off, it took forever for someone to check us in. I rang the bell twice and I saw employees in the office behind the counter but they didnt acknowledge me. Kinda frustrating after driving 9 hours from California. After about close to 10 mins, someone helped us. We got our room keys and headed to our room. The rooms are all inside a building so none of them have balconies. The 1st thing I noticed was the smell. Oh my gosh, it smells like they havent vacuumed or painted in over 40 years. Nothing was updated or modern. The carpet was old and a dirty brown and orange color. Im sensitive to smells so the smell really bothered me the whole 4 days. I had to spray my perfume in the room twice. The room was clean enough but there seemed to be a red wine stain on the inside of the white comforter on one of the beds. The coffee was a generic hotel brand Ive never heard of so I went downstairs to the lobby for that coffee and creamer. The hotel was quiet and no issues with noise. But the rooms seem really outdated and they have GOT to do something about the smell in there. I won't be staying here again.
