Not a resort I would recommend if you're going to Puerto Vallarta. If you're looking for an all-inclusive place, you might want to check elsewhere. The food was okay but always the same things, rarely new foods. However, they had three different restaurants for dinner, offering good choices. The room was fine but we had trouble with the bathroom faucet and the sink. It kept leaking from under, making a mess. Also, the AC kept making weird noises when turned off, which was very disturbing.
We talked twice to the staff at the front desk about these problems and they told us they would send someone to fix it. We don't know if they ever sent someone but these problems were never resolved. The management was very disappointing. They didn't explain anything, they simply gave us the keys without explaining the commodities. What really disappointed us was the fact that they kicked us out on our last day. Our flight was at 7 pm and we had to leave the room for 11 am that morning. We had planned to spend the day at the resort and at the beach until it was time for us to leave. Unfortunately, by leaving the room, we didn't have access to the resort and the commodities anymore. They told us we had to pay 1100 pesos for a day pass in order to spend the few hours there until our flight. We had already pay enough money to be there, they wanted us to pay even more for a simple request. It's not like they need more money anyways.
What a disappointing stay at Canto Del Sol...
