I did not expect for my room to be in a basement. It was dark and musty smelling - a lot to accept for $200. My partner asked to be moved to an upper floor, which was accommodated at a cost I was not made privy to.
The rooms are small and, while zshuzed, not very thoughtful in functionality. There’s really nowhere to sit - either you or your stuff. The bathroom is a giant sink with no place for toiletries. The showers are small and only two towels were provided.
I appreciate what they’re going for, and like to try off brand hotels, but this one was a bit disappointing overall. Not bad, but more meh than I would have liked.
