Diving and snorkelling at Blue Lagoon Beach
The diving spot is home to exotic marine life, including Napoleon wrasse, reef shark, stonefish, moray and blue ribbon eels, nudibranchs, octopuses, and cuttlefish. Many dive boats from Padang Bai Port offer trips to this dive spot and the white sand-bottomed dive site of Tanjung Jepun.
The 60-metre-long beach enjoys mostly calm waves throughout the year, though it’s best to swim at higher tide due to the proximity of the reef. The best time for snorkelling, swimming, and sunbathing at Blue Lagoon Beach is during the dry season (April–October).
The Bloo Lagoon Eco Village is one of the most popular resorts at Blue Lagoon Beach. It has an onsite spa specialising in traditional treatment, as well as activities like complimentary yoga, diving and snorkelling trips, cooking classes and village tours.
