Bagni di Tiberio offers both pebbles and sandy spots, ideal for strolling, sunbathing, exploring, and simple relaxation. You can ride speedboats from Marina Grande across to the Bagni di Tiberio beach. There are several amenities nearby including restrooms and restaurants.

Piscina di Venere
The best beach for relaxing
- Aventure
- Couples
Head to Piscina di Venere if you’re looking for a quiet and cosy beach to read a book or relax with friends on. Many of the best beaches on Capri are also the most crowded ones. Marina Grande, for example, is filled with smiling faces and happy chatter all through the summer months and much of the rest of the year. Piscina di Venere is much quieter and more secluded.
The Piscina di Venere beach, which translates to 'Venus' Swimming Pool', is a small spot that many tourists don't actually know about. The local sailors will be happy to take you here though, dropping you off and coming back a few hours later to pick you up. Just don’t forget to pack a picnic!

Marina di Mulo
The quietest beach
- Familles
Down on the southern side of Capri, where the beaches tend to be a little less crowded, you can find Marina di Mulo. This was a very popular spot back in the jet-set days, attracting plenty of glamorous stars and glitzy celebs.
Nowadays, it never gets quite as busy as somewhere like Marina Grande, but it's still spectacular. Our top tip for this beach is to arrive early. As the bay is quite deep and ringed with tall cliffs, the beach tends to lose sunlight quite early – generally around 4pm.

Easily one of the most scenic beaches on the island, Faraglioni is actually a small island separated from the mainland of Capri. At first, it might seem like this little rocky spot is inaccessible by foot, but there's a little trail you can walk along from the Punta Tragara area. You can also simply hop on a boat from Marina Piccola to get over to Faraglioni.
Like many other beaches around Capri, Faraglioni is dominated more by rocks and pebbles than sand, but it's terrific for enjoying views back onto the island and along the coast – the perfect spot for couples looking to share a peaceful, romantic moment together.

Gradola, however, is located in Anacapri. You can get here by bus very easily, but the rocky nature of the beach makes it more suitable for grown-ups than little ones.
It's not far from the Blue Grotto, so you can do some sightseeing on the same day, and there are several useful amenities and great hotels nearby too. It's a good spot to do some diving and swimming, or you can grab a fresh, juicy cocktail from a local bar and simply relax.
