The Peabody is an Historic Landmark for Memphis and itâs a joy staying here from time to time. The new update are beautiful. I just enjoy my stay here every time.
An amazing stay from start to finish. Everything about the hotel was wonderful, but the most delightful part was the friendliness and helpfulness of every single staff member we encountered.
Our room was not available until after 5:00pm which was a problem. Also, we had a full-sized bed in our room when I was expecting at least a queen sized one. We did enjoy the Duck March and the complimentary coffee, tea and hot chocolate in the morning. The duck footprints in the parking garage were appreciated too.
I called them because Iâm stuck in Atlanta but they said that they had no reservation from Expedia. They said try to get here before midnight but Iâm at the mercy of Delta (also booked on Expedia).
I asked the Peabody young lady if I could email her my receipt - she said no. Just show up and they will see what I did wrong with the reservation and also said to ask Expedia. No one helped. Very sad.
The rooms are out dated and small. Bathroom was small and very outdated. The hotel needs renovations. Staff was not knowledgeable about the Expedia VIP and gold/ silver. They were unaware of gold members can ask for an upgrade if itâs available. They were acting as if I was talking foreign language. It was weird!
