Snarky Front DeskManager, Frustrating Stay
After a long day of travel, I expected better from the Hampton Inn Burley. Instead, I struggled just to access the “free” Wi-Fi — only to be redirected to a Hilton Honors signup page. After 10 minutes of confusion, a front desk employee finally got my phone online.
When I asked about connecting a second device, the front desk manager, Alejandro, told me to bring the device down — no offer to assist a clearly exhausted guest. When I said I'd just leave a review, he sarcastically shot back, "Yeah, you do that!"
Hospitality should not include attitude from management. Even budget motels handle basic services better. The young woman tried her best, but Alejandro’s unprofessionalism left a lasting bad impression. I won’t stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to others.
