Staff great, building and rooms bad.
If you are looking for a hotel that has not been updated since the late 90s, this is your place! But it may not have been deep cleaned since then either⊠Letâs start at the beginning. You are greeted by a failing neon, trash filled parking lot, and general unkempt feeling. The only operational door is half working. The other half is hanging on by a screw and a prayer. The fish tank wall in the lobby is - well - green; and just sad. The foyer had broken and loose tiles and a âcaution wet floorâ sign that was up the entire three days we were there. The carpeted areas throughout the building were *squichy* and damp. We were the only car in the parking lot at check in, clearly the only guest there the week after the 4th, and somehow still were placed in a room on the entire opposite end of the building. Not joking. It was a 1/4 mile walk to our room. Which normally would have been fine if any of the other external doors in the building were working, but they werenât. Then as we walk up to our room we notice a pile of dirty bedding in the hallway RIGHT next to our room door. We just figured the crew was coming back to grab it soon since we checked in early. Boy, were we wrong. It remained there the entire stay and may still be there to this day⊠the bedroom area and bathroom were *generally* clean. But we still pulled out the Clorox wipes and didnât touch anything without washing our hands.. Iâm out of room but check out the pictures for the patio, also bad... Staff was kind.
