Could do better.
The heating was not working on a very cold night. I did ask before going to bed if it could be fixed but they could not help as limited staff. In the morning I was told they could have given me a heater for the room. Maybe they need to train staff better to help when guests arrive late. The manager gave me a free breakfast which was nice but I would have preferred a better nights sleep.

Excellent 1-night stay
Stayed for one night to break up our journey. Our room was neat, clean and comfortable and we slept well in the comfortable bed The A/C gave us good control over the room temperature. The bathroom/shower was good and the breakfast wonderful. All was very much appreciated, thank you, and we would thoroughly recommend this accommodation.

Nice
Hotel reception was clean & tidy , the staff were really friendly & welcoming . The room was spotless , the shower wasn’t very good but it had a nice deep bath which was nice. The view from our room was over some kind of commercial yard - look awful & grotty. The main thing that concerned me was there was windows but then there was another window which was screwed round the original window so there was no way to open the window for fresh air , let alone anyway to escape if there was a fire in the hallway without smashing 2 windows. The room felt quite stuffy & there wasn’t even a fan but some old style air / heat conditioning.

Perfectly situated.
We stayed on the 18th Oct 2024 well what can i say the staff are amazing so friendly and welcoming especially the barman who unfortunately we didn't get his name but he looked after us both that night for drinks and dinner and hes so knowledgeable for the area . Food was great and well presented. Room was big and spacious unfortunately the bed was to hard they could do with having a mix of soft to hard mattresses so customers do have a choice, although the room was lovely and quite as we faced the road there's no way to get airflow in the room so we tried the fan in the ceiling but it didn't work so it was a little warm . But it was a great stay hotel is perfectly situated lots going on around the area perfect for Leeds and York with cheap train tickets going both ways we used it to Leeds £10 return for two whats not to like .
