Overall nice hotel, but inconsistent with the rule
I love to gamble, but I don't drink alcohol, so I drink coffee. I make my coffee in my room and bring my coffee mug. My mug has been to Vegas, all over Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Mississippi. We arrived about 4pm and I went to the casino and brought my coffee mug. I played the slots until my coffee was gone and I would go back up to the room and make more. About every 60-90 minutes. Until about 1am. Every person at the gate let me walk right on in with it. Every server asked if I needed a drink and I showed them my mug and said I had coffee. No problems. I went to bed and woke up early to go to the casino about 7qm to get some more slots in before my family woke up and it was time to go. 8 get down to the casino and the security guard won't let me in with my coffee mug. I opened it and let him smell, no alcohol. I explained I'd been in and out 5 or 6 or more times the night before but he wouldn't let me in. I was extremely pissed. I told him I wasn't pissed at him because he was just following the rules, but I was pissed about every other person letting me in the night before. So that's why there is a 2 star and we won't be back. I dropped about $500 the night before and had another $200 I was going to spend that morning. It is just easier going to lake Charles
