Hotel stay was not all what was expected. I reserved a King Suite...one would think it's the best room on site. Checked in...receptionist seemed over worked and tired, but was still courteous and professional..went to the room to discover fixtures not properly maintained and hole in the wall by the light switch in Master Bedroom, changed rooms and 2nd room smelled like smoke. Ran into hotel staff, Mark is his name and was super kind wanted to ensure I was satisfied with my room. He moved me to the 6th floor, good room with not connecting room. I asked for a non connecting suite and the receptionist said they don't have any of those type of rooms. Clearly she did not know about the hotel or was just trying not to offer me what I requested. I paid close to $300 for 2 nights and I was not pleased. Room 617 did not have any dish soap for me to wash the dishes I used...called downstairs 3 times and didn't get an answer so I just gave up. This is a nice propertybut I do not know why my visit turned out like this pr why the receptionists didn't know they have suites that are non connecting,not professional at all. I want to thank Mark and he should be recognized for being courteous and ensuring customers are pleased with their stay. Thanks Mark.
