There were two cleanliness issues I noticed that I found concerning: 1. There was a used towel hanging on a peg behind the bathroom door, and 2) ehen we pulled back the covers to get in bed, the sheets were rumpled as if slept in. They did not look dirty, but they were definitely not changed bafore arrived.
Geust service was horrible. Could not locate my correct reservation where I booked 2 rooms. Made me pay for an additional room until the issue could be resolved.
This hotel is conveniently located right off the freeway and only 15-20 minutes from Midtown. It is close to lots of retail/dining areas. Publix and Kroger grocery stores are around the corner. The staff was friendly. Breakfast was decent, at bestâŠbelgian waffles, eggs, and sausage were the consistent hot breakfast options. On Friday night around 11:00 PM, the fire alarm went off so we evacuated the hotel for about 15 minutes. No emergency, no fireâŠbut also no explanation as to what caused the alarm. Overall a good stay. The beds were comfy and the sink/shower water was hot with good pressure. We would return.
Upon entering the room it had a smelly odor more than just stuffiness. The ac didnât help. I went and searched out Lysol spray from the laundry area which helped.
Also, we stayed on the first floor and we heard continual âstompingâ like sounds above us, maybe children? You could also hear the shower in the adjoining room. The building is older and not very sound proof.
We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay. The breakfast was good and the woman who was responsible for restocking the food did an excellent job! When we asked the front desk for help, they met our needs right away.
We specifically chose this hotel for location and being pet friendly. With the exception of a sticky spot on the carpet in the living room, the room was impeccably clean. The staff was cordial and welcoming, and the breakfast was fine. The room was very quiet in spite of the close proximity to I-85.
