AVERAGE STAY ... CERTAIN AREAS NEED VAST IMPROVEME
Greetings, Antonio hopefully you will read this review and work with corporate to make some serious changes to better improve business. First and foremost, the Orchard Lake location is difficult to find. Coming off 12 mile the sign is not easily seen location at all. So new patrons who are walk ins would never see hotel. Which infringes on new potential business for the hotel. There are thousands and thousands of out towners such as us who would end up accidently finding a hotel just on strength of driving or touring. In comparison to the Country Inn where we have been staying for the past three months once every week for business trips in and out of the state, the Marriot Fairfield was much better in terms of the hotel hallways, dining area, rooms being clean and tidy however more money needs to be invested in the overall comfort of the patrons. Larger flat screen TVs in all of the hotel rooms, including the breakfast nook area. As well as full HD since pretty much all hotels are running a minimum full HD television experience. It appears as though Fairfield Merriott lacks in this category. Another category that lags is the time frame to use the pool area. This time frame should be extended to 12 AM as opposed to ending at 10 PM also breakfast times should be extended to 10 AM as opposed to ending at 9 AM and last but not least there should also be someone available at the front desk after 11:30 pm as often times, it very difficult to reach someone after the late pm hours.
