Sheraton Milwaukee Brookfield:
I booked two (one night) hotel rooms for 7/25-7/26. My family and I stayed for approximately 30 minutes before we were forced to check out and leave the hotel due to the disturbingly unsafe and unsanitary conditions of the rooms.
One of our rooms (Rm. 395) had a bathroom floor that was very dirty and sticky with dark brown and black-ish unknown substances.
Most importantly, however, was our second room (Rm 276) that had many fresh blood splotches (not washed-in stains) on the bedding as well as unknown substances on a separate area of the sheets. The bathroom toilet was dirty had not been cleaned as well. My family and I did not touch any of the aforementioned areas before finding them in those conditions.
I still have not gotten a response from the general manager even after emails and messages.

No explanation why an additional $150 charge was added to my credit card at check-in. When asked about the charge at check-out, the explanation was not clear.
Room was clean and bed was comfy. Great location right off I-94, easy access to city, etc. Hotel is in a safe area, plenty of dining options nearby. They had a special with $7 breakfast buffet, which is roughly half price. Great deal at that price.
Hotel is a little dated on outside but they have renovated the inside and rooms.
The shower doors wouldnât close and the toilet wasnât flushing right so we reported it the front desk and told them we would be out of the room after 10:30am and when we returned at 9:00pm no one had been to the room, neither maintenance or room service. We called down and they sent an engineer who worked on them until 10:30pm and all he did was close the door half way so that not as much water would get on the bathroom floor.
Great stay and wonderful clean quiet room. Stayed two nights and would defined stay again. Also close to variety of good restaurants-all within walking distance
The room was covered in dust. I ean my finger over the dresser and it made a trail. Holes in carpet. The area around the toilet was white and rusty as if it had been replaced or repaired in a hurry. The bathroom door was beat up. The closet door didnât close all the way. The shower curtain was not enough to keep the floor from getting soaked. The saving grace was the bed which was super comfy. They did provide us with a shuttle to the airport which was nice. They have 699 rooms and I am a Bonvoy member yet I felt they could have potentially put us in a room that was nicer.
This was our first experience at a Sheraton hotel and it will be our last. We booked 2 rooms for three nights. We arrived early and we were able to check in an hour early which was the only positive part of this stay. The first night we discovered that there was no electricity along one wall; no bedside lights, no phone, and no alarm clock. After notifying the front desk, the maintenance man arrived, checked a couple of things and said he'd be right back (this was at 9:30 PM). He never returned. I stopped at the front desk again the next morning and asked for someone to stop in about an hour but no one came. Finally, on our last night we notified the front desk again. The same maintenance man stopped and did the same thing! It took calling the front desk for a 4th time and demanding to speak with a manager to get a maintenance supervisor to resolve the issue (at 10 PM on our last night). The manager assured us that we would receive a discount, but there was no compensation for this issue. Lastly, I strongly question the cleanliness of the rooms as we came across two empty beer bottles hidden under the black out shade on the floor of our room from a prior stay. Who knows how long those had been there..... I would not recommend this hotel.

We had to request a room change because one of the mattress foundations had collapsed on one side. Our second room was nice but the pillows werenât great. One very soft and other lumpy. The door was very difficult to open and close too. Had to really push down hard on the handle to open it. Couldnât find help at the coffee shop counter. Nice location for our activities. Pleasant staff.
