My husband, my two dogs and I stay here every time we travel through PDX. The staff is super friendly. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the food and service at the restaurant is excellent. We will go back again and again.
We always stay here before we fly out of Portland and normally enjoy it. This time wasnât as great due to a fraternity convention. The fraternity members were keeping us up with slamming doors, yelling in the hallway, etc. I have to say the hotel staff worked very hard to quiet them down so it is not a knock on the hotel, will not book a stay in the future if a fraternity convention will be happening at the same time.
I was told they needed my credit card for "incidentals" I was not told I was being charged, 8 hours later my card has not reimbursed. No communication.
There was throw up in the bath tub, so I walked dragging my luggage all the way back down to the front desk to advise of this.
They gave me another room close to the same place but the key they gave me a key would not unlock my door so again I drug all my stuff back down to the front desk.
They sent a person with me to let me in as they were having "key" issues the guy said.
The next room had issues with the heat, making aloud popping noise every time it came on. Took me an hour (late at night) to finally get into a room.
Wasn't at all like the times I stayed before.
The guy was not very cordial and acted as if it was my fault.
Very disappointing,
There was no TV remote in the room. When we tried to call the front desk, the phone didnât work. They got both issues fixed. Nevertheless, the awesome bartender, Rocky, will keep us coming back. He also got us a wheelchair for my wife
